Service Terms and Conditions

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling service with Y & S Appliance Repair, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our technicians will arrive at the scheduled time with proper identification and will explain all findings and repair options before beginning any work.

2. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of diagnosis. Final pricing may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. Written estimates will be provided before any work begins, and customer approval is required prior to starting repairs.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. A 50% deposit may be required for extensive repairs or parts orders. Emergency services may require payment at the time of service.

4. Warranties

All repairs include a 90-day warranty on both parts and labor. Manufacturer warranties on replacement parts are also honored. Warranties are void if the appliance is improperly used, damaged, or serviced by unauthorized technicians.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide clear access to the appliance and adequate workspace
  • Ensure the appliance is unplugged and disconnected from water sources
  • Remove all clothing, laundry, or items from the appliance
  • Provide accurate information about the appliance's issues
  • Maintain the appliance according to manufacturer recommendations

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full service fee.

7. Emergency Services

Emergency services are available 24/7 and may incur additional fees. Response time is typically 2-4 hours but may vary based on location and severity of the emergency. Emergency service requires immediate payment at the time of service.

8. Liability

Y & S Appliance Repair is not responsible for pre-existing damage, water damage caused by customer delay, or damage caused by improper appliance use. We maintain comprehensive liability insurance for your protection.

9. Service Commitment

We stand behind our work and are committed to customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days to discuss resolution options.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. The most current version will always be available on our website and will apply to all new service requests.
